Music Editing - The Voiceover
There's 3 great opportunities for this idea.
1. Walking down the aisle.
As you walk down the aisle, you pause prior to getting to your spot as a recording of you telling your father how much he means to you is mixed into your processional song.
2. Spotlight Dances. (Father/Daughter or Mother/Son)
Professionally mixed into the intro to your Spotlight Dance song, a recording of you expressing your sentiments to your (father, mother) plays for all to enjoy. Sometimes I've done these for 1st dances! It's a surprise for 1 of you.......;)
3. During the walk-on (processional) for your ceremony, either the bride or groom, or both, record a Voiceover introducing the member of the wedding party, thanking them for standing up for you, as they walk to their ceremony spot. Usually a 20-30 second Voiceover mixed into their custom processional song.
I suggest only doing 1 of these but have done more than 1 at the same celebration before. I obtain the recording from your voicemail to me. No pressure! You can record several takes to be sure you're happy with the final track.

5 Year Time Capsule
I was awarded "Best Creative Idea" at Mobile Times' 2016 Convention in Las Vegas. My company started it in 2014.
Each guest gets a small card (on their dinner table) to fill out with their name/phone/email address on the front and on the back they're asked to write 3 predictions they have for "Cathy & Steve". This can include predictions about where, in 5 years, you'll be living, children, job situation, etc..
I collect them throughout the night and seal them in a gift bag. At the end of the night I give you the predictions with your promise Not to open until your 5th year anniversary. Go out to dinner, enjoy a bottle of wine and enjoy reading the predictions your family and friends made about you!
